What to Expect

If  you’ve never been to an acupuncturist before – you will notice it’s a little different than your other doctor appointments.  For starters, in the initial appointment we take very detailed histories.  That first session can take up to about 1.5 hours. Once we have established a treatment plan, the following appointments take about 1 hour.

You will be most comfortable if you:

• Wear loose clothing
• Come with a little food in your stomach

If you are new to TCM, you may have a lot of questions.  Please know that in between appointments I am happy to answer questions by email and make sure that you are getting all the information you need.
